Typology for Sociogovernance tools for MPA management (Blue4All - University College Dublin)

Summum designed a visual for Blue4All, for use in scientific publications. It explains a new typology for sociogovernance tools for the management of Marine Protected Areas (MPA). There is:
- the complete visual, that is used to explain the typology in total;
- a smaller version, that can be used as a visual summary to describe the use of the typology in case studies.
It's published in an article in Ocean & Coastal Management, Volume 271, January 2026, 107948 that discusses how well-functioning MPA magagement must include stakeholders and address the social and dynamics that shape governments.

Universities from all over Europe work together in the Blue4All project to address marine conservation and restoration challenges in Europe. The University College of Dublin is one of the partners. For more information, visit https://www.blue4all.eu/.
